Amsterdam: a city of canals, bicycles, and (my favorite!) beautiful, interior design that makes me want to splash white paint all over my floor (#rentergonewild #justjokinglandlord).
Last week, I had the great pleasure of staying in an Airbnb located in the heart of Amsterdam; the neighbourhood Oud-West. Bursting with character, charm, and a super-comfy bed, I thoroughly recommend staying here if you are visiting Amsterdam (Btw: This post is in no way sponsored. I just really loved the flat and wanted to share. Thanks again to the lovely Lisa for letting me share these pictures with you!).
Let’s take a peek inside!
A dark blue sofa, rich oil paintings, a few heavy wooden furnishings, and hints of red and yellow help to visually warm up the space. Matching black frames are a great way to showcase art with different color palettes.
Pops of turquoise and mint make my heart sing! The palm tree painting was my favorite piece in the home. I love the worn, weathered texture of the frame and, of course, the palm trees 😉
Crisp, white linens turn any bed into a cozy retreat…especially after hours and hours of exploring a new city. The ‘LOVE’ wall art would be very simple to replicate…I see a potential DIY project!
Soft, white curtains help frame the windows without distracting from the view, and with light like this, waking up wasn’t so hard 😉
What is your favorite part of this eclectic home? Share in a comment, I would love to hear!
